Renceau & Velocity Made Good went to Portugal with Glitch

"My experience joining the Glitch family on their trip to Faro was wonderful. I felt very welcomed by both the organizers and the locals, the weather was great and the food was amazing! I spent the evening before the show on our rooftop terrace preparing my set. To do this in a t-shirt and shorts in the middle of winter led to some pretty cool musical choices, which I felt landed pretty well with the people attending. From the 27th of December 2024, Velocity Made Good and Renceau went to Portugal curated by Glitch in collaboration with Go!

They played at Associacao Recreativa e Cultural de Musicos, officially established in Faro in 1990. ARCM was started by a group of bands who aimed to provide a rehearsel space and small venue for local bands - mostly punk-rock - who faced significant challenges in performing in urban areas due to noise restrictions and as per 2024, grew out as a publically well known festival and project with about 1300 members, regular residencies, a consistent event program and a music school.

Blending influences from House, Speed Garage and Rave, you get the right kind of
underground yet friendly and energetic blend that describes Renceau’s sound, winning over
more and more hearts wherever it’s heard.

As a DJ he is obsessed about finding that one white label record to rule them all - Renceau
is a true purist at heart who makes no compromises on quality and danceability. Constantly
broadening his perspective, and spending hours in the crates, both his library of dancefloor
killers and list of upcoming dates keep growing consistently. It’s starting to become clear that Renceau is a name to look out for.

Velocity Made Good’s music is cutting-edge, direct, and dangerous. Armed with synths, guitar, and live drums, Velocity Made Good's shows range from a calm stillness to a heavy storm, blending refined EBM and electronic elements with raw rock sounds.

Velocity Made Good's music is a personal embodiment of the places that draw them in. The act originated on the Wadden Sea. Aboard a small sailboat equipped with microphones in the mast and modulars below deck, they crafted their debut EP, that was released in early 2024.

Anticipate a swirling dance floor and a live performance that propels the evening into the night. For fans of Underworld, The Stone Roses, and 808 State.
